Starting your company’s commitment towards sustainability and community improvement is easy with our Approved Green Business Program. A simple online system allows rapid application, and our web-based program lets you get started immediately!
Imagine your business is interested in joining (are we that far-fetched?). What is involved?
Application (or, The Beginning)
Complete the requested information online. The necessary documents and links to get started will be forwarded to the provided e-mail address. That’s it.
Implementation (or, Now We’re Making a Difference)
Take a look at the received materials. Included within are two very important items (but don’t ignore the rest!):
Guidelines to Sustainability (Access Code): The core of the Approved Green Business Program. The Guidelines are the actual improvements, divided by industry, category, and a point scale on each item. Designed to help companies focus on the most important sustainability improvements today, while assisting them to understand valuable steps that can be taken in the future. Our system is 100% web-based, so you may access it at any time (from any device). Don't worry, it saves your progress!
Sustainability Plan: The strategy for implementing the improvements noted above. Every business needs a plan.
Now you’re ready to begin the program! With assistance of our helpful, included, guide materials, organize an employee-driven Green Team to oversee the program’s progress. Are you interested in participating in the Greater Good Alliance? It's included in your membership! Feel free to contact us at any time. We’re as excited by sustainability as you!
Marketing (or, Spread the Word)
Upon signing up online, we get the ball rolling on your positive public outreach. Soon after, pending your approval, we post your news on our extensive social media sites announcing your focused commitment towards sustainability and community.
To help publicize to your employees, customers, and/or members, we provide a Welcome Kit with digital and print tools for your newsletter or magazine.
What else will we do to spread the word?
- At least 3 Featured Connections on the Greater Good Alliance website (If applicable, within 12 months)
- News posting on GreenProfit Solutions website
- Business feature in a future newsletter
